My name is Kelley Kelly (yes,
that's really my name) and 3 Seconds,
LLC is my child. They say the apple
doesn’t fall far from the tree,
so let me tell you about the tree.
The TechnicalitiesI have a bachelor’s degree from Smith College
(1989) featuring a major in music, an official minor
in psychology, and an unofficial minor in studio
art. My graduate work was at Rochester Institute
of Technology in the photography MFA program. I was
a paralegal for 9 years after leaving grad school
(in a recession, you take the job that pays the rent)
then worked in marketing briefly before following
Frost’s example. I am also a certificated private
pilot working on my instrument rating.
The More-Defining Details I love music from Beethoven to
the Bosstones. I sing. My favorite
artists are John Singer Sargent,
Maxfield Parrish, and Gary Larson.
I love to laugh until I snort. I
wrote a musical in high school. I
was a Gold Award-level Girl Scout.
Favorite books range from Page Smith's
A New Age Now Begins (a great, 2-volume
history of the Revolutionary War)
to Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter,
and any of Robert Parker's Spenser
series. Just don't make me read Melville.
Please. Although I try to meditate,
I'm more comfortable doing than sitting.
What Does This Mean For You?
- It means I’ve lived my
life both inside and outside the
proverbial
box to the point where the box
has ceased to exist.
- It means idioms
and influences from a pretty
diverse
background to make your point
to your customers.
- It means you
get
someone who can color visually
and verbally but still stay
within the
lines when needed.
- It means
pieces as formal or as down-to-earth
as your company, pieces that
tell
more
story with less talk.
